Increasing the icon size setting increases the size on some UI elements, while
decreasing the size of others. Sizes appear to increase up to a point, but once

I did an apt dist-upgrade and got a message telling me that gnome-shell
had crashed and asking if I wanted to report it. I figured it was just
something funky about the upgrade so didn't bother. Instead, I restarted
my machine just to get everything back into a sane state.

someone who upgraded to Cosmic specifically to fix this bug. I found it
still wasn't working and simple was not sure the reason (as have other
factors at play on my system, including Budgie Desktop, multiple
monitors, and nvidia
