I noticed that it's switching at the following moments:
1. switching terminal from console to xorg (ctrl+alt+f2 -> ctrl+alt+f7)
2. resume from hibernation
3. os boot
all these cases are related to console in some way.
probably console meddles to layout somehow...

I have the same issue, glad its not just me. The keyboard and touchpad
only work once the hinge has been opened over 180degrees even after ive
logged in so at least i have a work around till we get a proper fix.
Is there anything i can do to assist at this time?
