The keyboard shortcut `Super+Up` seems to be hardcoded to something
along the lines of showing activities overview, and cannot be removed or
used for any other action,

I installed package xrdp and task xubuntu-desktop in my Hetzner VPS with
Ubuntu. I can log in, but I will only see a screen with a blank (blue)
background instead of the desktop environment.
It seems to be an extremely widespread problem with many workarounds

Title:
Logging in to GNOME 40.2.0 causes desktop icon exte
If a particular application is causing you annoyance then you can
silence it in:
Settings > Notifications
Or rather than completely silence it, just disable its popups and still
get a notification dot in the top bar.
