Since I updated from ubuntu 21.04 to ubuntu 21.10 the suspend still
works but there is no password required anymore when the laptop awakes
out of suspend. I did not change any settings and I still see "lock
screen on suspend" = YES in the settings.

Hello
Thank you I ran the command this morning but it did not work I got a failed
message.
That I can reset the credentials by removing the file
So what happens is I shut down and I see the prompts of everything shutting
on down. Then the screen goes blank but my laptop light stays on. I tried

exactly what you're talking about.
When I do the shutdown feature, I see the proper shutdown prompts. But then
eventually my computer screen shuts off but my computer light on my power
button stays on. And I can st
Funnily, after disabling the Ubuntu Dock (have not yet logged out and in
again) and unplugging my cable, there was no crash. Then again, the
crashes are not consistent so I'll try again.
This interferes with my work so much that I cannot test this constantly.
