So this patch actually *does* kind of work but only on the gnome-
terminal level (and includes some shotgun debugging). Something deeper
needs to happen in order to actually make this work - ie bringing up a
fediverse client of some kind or a web browser if that's not available.

manager, similar to explorer on Windows,
