The screen goes dim after 30 seconds of inactivity even after I've unchecked a
switch in the Settings > Power > Power saving options > Dim screen.
Basically, the system doesn't care about this switch and it's really annoying

Yes, I requested "Mouse Acceleration" not any other name for it, or
behaviour. And this bug/feature request should implement it as "Mouse
Acceleration" as that is the term used when humans talk about it, namely
in the gaming community/industries.
