Please verify that the bug occurs in a vanilla Ubuntu session with only the Ubuntu Dock, Desktop Icons NG, and AppIndicator extensions. Since it is overwhelmingly likely this is caused by one of the unsupported extensions you have enabled I'm going to preemptively mark this as invalid for Ubuntu.
