Thanks for the bug report. This reminds me of suspected leaks I noticed
a while back in:
/proc/`pidof -s gnome-shell`/maps
relating to 'i915.gem' entries. I only know they're related to Intel GPU
memory usage and a growing number over time sounds like some kind of

Works after fixing it with sudo apt install --reinstall python3 python
