I have experienced this (or something very like this) a few times on my
t14 amd gen 3, which does not have dual GPUs. I only updated to
libmutter 45 this morning though.

I installed it with default settings and locale but I just remembered that
after install I changed the locale to the English_Danish version. Since the
folders are restored now I won't try to replicate the error, but it seems
something went wrong when installing a new locale.
