Every time I log back in after suspension, the speed of the pointer changes.
What changes is not the slow-fast setting in the "pointer speed" bar but the
actual speed of the pointer. I am using a Lenovo Nano laptop and the trackpoint
in the keyboard to control the pointer,
The documentation for Mouse Keys seems to be lacking so I looked at the
source code and found:
Keypad 5: Single click
Keypad 0 (Insert): Button press (no release)
Keypad . (Delete): Button release
Keypad +: Double click
So it sounds like you just need to press '.' (Delete) on the keypad?

I use the accessibility option "Mousekeys", and (sometimes) I
accidentally press the Keypad-0 key (that simulates holding a click),
while moving or clicking with the other keys.
Then sometimes the entire Gnome desktop (Wayland) freezes/hangs/stops.
