The "Active Screen Edges" feature conflicts with the "Enhanced Tiling" feature from "Settings > Ubuntu Desktop". When loading the tiling extension it automatically disables "Active Screen Edges". That happens on every log-in or screen unlock. That's not ideal but it is the caveat of implementing "
