Since ubuntu 10.10 amd64 (with latest updates) I also got the slow-
startup bug.
Starting evolution takes on my quite fast computer (2*3.2GHz, 8GB DDR2,
...) 17 seconds :-O

I can confirm that alt+print doesn't work on my up to date ubuntu 10.10
amd64.
Workaround:
sudo sysctl -w kernel.sysrq=0
This needs to be fixed soon or many user will get annoyed!

Everytime I start evolution it asks for my POP password although it is already
safed (*** appears in the textbox).
If I click on OK the same window appears again. If I klick on "cancel"

Same problem here with Ubuntu 7.10 64bit and GNOME Terminal 2.18.1.
Which graphical Terminal can I use instead of GNOME terminal? I have
tried to set X-Term to default, but it doesn't work too.

The workaround "in Rhythmbox --> Preferences --> Playback --> 'Use
crossfading backend'" seems to fix my posted problem.
I think it would be better when Rhythmbox has this setting default.
