My laptop has a resolution of 1366x768 and I too use the Nvidia Driver 440.

I have this phantom folder in an imap that was set up yesterday

s2ram and s2both are also hardcoded into all of the /usr/lib/pm-utils
scripts.
Either a config variable should be introduced, or pm-utils should be
