Every software has its developing process, and this includes finding bugs and
fixing the bugs.
While a software has a bug, packagers (and/or developer) need to look for
alternatives, and publish software that does what it says.

This bug is a shame for GNU systems.
Actually Ubuntu is a great representative of GNU systems.
A lot of software is not selected to be installed as default in Ubuntu
because of their bugs, then which could be the problem to select another
PDF viewer as default until the bug is fixed? There are sof
Galileon, please don't publish literal e-mail addresses.
Not everybody is native english speaker, and I don't understand OTOH.
Another suggestion is to remove Evince from the default Ubuntu installation and
put another PDF viewer.

prints quickly a document to the default printer and with the default options.
Evince may replace its "Print" button with a direct comand as lpr.

I rely that the updates workflow will give to all users the aimed update
(with the first Karmic or posterior updates), but the "Importance" field
needs to mark a HIGH PRIORITY, for the reasons explained by Gannin.
