Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I installed XUbuntu 7.04 Beta. I wanted to use Sound Juicer to rip some
CDs to disk, so I installed it via Synaptic. Several packages were
downloaded in addition, due to Gnome dependencies. I ran Sound Juicer,
and it failed to communicate with the internet. Running from the
command line revealed there were missing objects (including /usr/lib
/gnome-vfs-2.0/modules/libhttp.so); Sound Juicer apparently requires
this package to download tracks from the internet: libgnomevfs2-extra.
Installing this via Synaptic resolved the bug.
I recommend that libgnomevfs2-extra be included in the sound-juicer
dependencies.
