I vote return to Gutsy behaviour. IMO both Gutsy and Hardy have broken
behaviour, namely that g-p-m periodically overrides my set-by-Fn+Up/Down
day to day choice on backlight brightness. At least with Gutsy I could
choice the set point.
My ideal scenario would be to have the dialog with 0..100% sl

some time to scan all children and calcualate total items/size. Locally
it is discernable when this has finished, due hard disk activity.

With the configuration interface implemented. I'm content for this bug
to be closed. I still believe the default is wrong, but one can't having
everything.

The ptoblem is actually with the tab control of GTK, so it shows up in
Gedit, Pidgin, Nautilus and several others. Firefox doesn't exhibit it,
I believe because they don't contain controls in the tab panels, but
merely use the tabs as a signal to switch by other means.
