we seem to be completely out of sync. While evince crash is not a good
thing, my complaint was about hot key assignment. Can you simply
disable rotation with hot keys?

It does not seem to be a feature which needs a hot key at all - people
rotate a PDF once in a couple of years and should be perfectly fine
with menu options. In my opinion moving cursor by word left/right
while editing deserves this hot key combination much more.

On the crash itself - I will try to obtain a backtrace ASAP, while it
is trivial to reproduce the bug during a live debug session. evince
always crashed in such conditions in any architecture I was able to
reach.
