Wilsonag from the forums suggests that reinstalling the nvidia driver
fixes things, since any OpenGL activity crashes X. He suggests testing
with glxgears.
Could you please let us know if that crashes things? If that does, this
would be more likely an nvidia driver error and will be reassigned.
The error seems to be more a totem problem, so I'm redirecting it there.

This is assigned to Kubuntu Team. It looks like the GTK front end to
espresso was patched to keep the screensaver from popping up during
installation, and the same needs to be done in KDE.
