Let's say a file is opened in gedit.
So if I click "open" (file), I'd expect the file browser to open in the same
directory as the currently open file.
What happens in practice, however, is that the file browser opens on a pretty
random location.
This is very inconvenient, a
Cannot open a tab nor via menus, neither via HUD.
Don't remember keyboard shortcuts !

I have a pdf file with a few files attached. Some of the attachments are
PDFs, some are not. The PDF attachments are opened Ok, whereas non-PDF
attachments cannot be opened as, seemingly, evince tries to open them by
itself instead of calling appropriate application.

When, say 2, documents are open, it happens that clicking a particular tab
activates the aproppriate document, but the 'other' tab is 'on the front'. At
