Finally this is fixed on my machine, thanks, A LOT.
Apparently it was upgrading mutter to the jammy-proposed version explicitly
that caused the dependency removing mess, so your command works fine and only
upgrade the necessary packages.
I can confirm, after a rebo

I guess the right upgrade path would be to upgrade to 23.10 first and then to
24.04.

Nobody seems to care but as I stated several times in this thread, for
some people (including me) upgrading these packages will remove some
other packages that apparently need the former ones. This is not an
option.

downloaded from youtube using Minitube.

- search for a video
- download it
- open the downloaded file with totem / run totem-video-thumbnailer on the file
- check that the file is readable wit

a patch for pygtk 2.17, Ubuntu should probably fix all versions, not

I have a very similar use case.
Rather than a preference to disable auto-reload, I would like a
preference to disable focus-stealing when the document change. I would
even be happy if this was only accessible via gconf-editor.
For the record, I can't imagine any scenario where this focus-stealing

Bug reproduced with "Tresse" game at least.
When we middle button click on the card at the top of stock slot,
if this hidden card can take place on one of the foundation stack,
this card move to the foundation, but is not moved back (still hi
gthumb-import was working fine on 8.4 here and is failing since the
upgrade to 10.4
The fix given on comment #26 is ok for me on 10.4

I want to confirm that I had the same problem. The solution given by
LGDN fixed the problem but it it is not obvious at all.
I upgraded from Karmic, my gnome-terminal was already configured with
transparency under Karmic.
