I can confirm this error for Ubuntu 11.04 (amd64), with stock Empathy
(2.34.0), when trying to receive a file via Bonjour sent from a Windows
system (using Pidgin 2.10.1).

I think the bottom line is really that for me, topics are only displayed
for channels I'm autoconnected to. I added #scribus to that list
yesterday (so it now consists of that plus #debian-games and #ubuntu-
motu). After empathy started up today (automatically right after login),
I got auto-connect
For me, it is reproducible.
1. My IRC channel favorites list consists of only #debian-games (OTFC) and
#ubuntu-motu (freenode) and they're set both to auto-connect at startup. For
both channels, topics are shown from startup on.
2. I then log into #libreoffice-dev -- no topic shown. Same goes fo

Regarding gnome-font-viewer:
For a font file, a nautilus context menu item allowing to install that font
would be very much appreciated, especially when installing more fonts at once,
such as (regular, bold, italic, bold italic,...)
