sends the core file which has sensitive data (i.e. accounts/passwords)
in it. I have complained over and over again about the inability to
remove sensitive data from apport reports but it seems to get ignored

You need to apply the upstream commit 90dcdd3 to resolve a problem with
the use of proxies and HTTPS caldav.

I really have to wonder why evolution's 2.32 release was not used for
Maverick which is a gnome 2.32 release.
Now that evolution has released 2.32 they are no longer landing bug
fixes to their gnome-2-32 branch, so the responsibility of watching
their gnome-2-32 branch for bug fixes and backportin

When I start evolution I get a dialog saying:
GConf error: Type mismatch: Expected `string' got `list' for key
/apps/evolution/shell/network_config/ignore_hosts
You need to apply the upstream commit aa61df9 for this bug.

FWIW, I just confirmed that this is happening in Lucid also. I closed
the lid (before logging in to the desktop) right before I collected this
information in fact and it suspended.
