I also experience this crash. I don't have global app menu installed but
for me the crash occurs when the following line of code is being

Well, the bug is reproduced several times during the day in my
Evolution. The bug started after I have updated my Ubuntu to the version
8.10, apart from that I have done nothing different from what I usually
do. I use Imap and my e-mail server is from one of the largest company
in Brazil, www.locaw

I updated Ubuntu to the version 8.10 which comes with Evolution 2.24.3.
All my e-mails, in all Imap folders, were duplicated. I erased my
account, all filters and configurated the e-mail account again without
the filters. The problem persists.
