Same bug happened on current Hardy for me. A few days after installing Hardy alpha 4, the mysterious CD-ROM 1 appeared on the disk mount applet. Although I have a DVDRW device, which works perfectly and has a distinct icon. I found out, that this icon is for scd0, that is (out of some reason) li
