This no longer happens in Karmic. I didn't test Lucid so I can't say if
it still persists.

I have one question, before it was about this bug that vlc doesn't inhibit
the screensaver, but now i'm having a bug that the screensaver doesn't
appear after i watch a movie using vlc. Does anybody know anything about
that?

My system is up-to-date and the problem persists. Today the screensaver came
up while watching a movie.

I have to create the new folder in the folder with the files, get in the
new folder and get out, then the files on the parent folder will appear
normally.

If i create some new folder in the folder where the files aren't
appearing, everything comes back to normal.

When i say opened another folder, is leave the current folder and move
to another. Don't confuse with open another Nautilus window.

Try this to see if happens:
I took a file 175 MB and moved it to a folder, when the moving operation was
running i left the folder and opened another folder. After this, the files
doesn't appeared on the folder where i moved the file.
