I have installed wiley and in a gnome flashback (with compiz) session there is
no option for preferences under the edit tab.
Therefore there is no option to not wrap lines, show line numbers, etc.

I just logged out and back in then timed it to see when the panel
date/time etc. appeared and it took 1 minute 30 seconds for it to come
up all the way. Once I clicked on Cairo Dock from the menu on the top
panel in flashback as it is immediately available. Then when it did

xscreensaver:
Create a script to run at startup with these commands. Anything less than 60
seconds is less likely to work.

I had installed each deb separately and that caused problems. I
installed both debs with sudo dpkg -i gnome-panel*.deb this time and I
can confirm that this did fix this problem.

Every time I boot into Saucy the middle section of the top and bottom panels
are a light color close to white.
I have found that if I hold ALT+Super+right click the mouse on each panel, go
to properties, click background,
change it to solid color and then back to none (use system theme) then it
This annoying little quirk just started happening in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, however
it always has occurred in 12.10, 13.04, 13.10 as well as Mint 13 and 15.

work around I have read.
It also does not give any errors like "gksu nautilus" does.
