My problem is slightly different, in that I _did_ create the signature in HTML and when I start to create the signature, I "import HTML file" - there is no other text. (I created the signature in GEDIT) Every time I restart Evolution, the signature is displayed as HTML code, and when I go into configure / composer preferences / signature the option has always been changed back to "Plain Text".
I have every option in Evolution (that I can find!) set to "HTML" but this just keeps reverting.
