in gnome-mount or hal, I don't know. If two external disk drives have
the same vendor name, only one of them will mount. This seems to be due
to conflicting mount
I just ran into this - it seems pretty brain-dead that opening the menu
editor will kill your menus without warning when you don't have any disk
space (which happens from time to time) and not offer any way to recover
them, except by deleting some magical file that you're extremely
unlikely to know

I tried building gnome-vfs 2.16.3 from feisty and the problem still
existed - on the other hand, building 2.14.1 from dapper fixed things. I
hope this is fixed soon, this is a pretty unbelievable regression...

true - Previously (in dapper), setting this meant that the 'Desktop'
entry wouldn't appear in GTK file dialogs (as is correct, the directory

I had a look at the code for this dialog (mail/mail-send-recv.c) and I
couldn't see anything that would add this frame... I tried setting the
shadow type for the scrolled window and the viewport (see around line
383) to GTK_SHADOW_NONE and this had no effect.
Maybe this is a gtk bug? Maybe related

A recent update to ubuntu-artwork has made folder icons when using the 'Human'
theme huge.
This isn't consistent; document icons and the open-folder icon are still the
normal size, which leads to odd behaviour when dragging a document into a

ok, the problem is back again and I've no idea what's triggered it. I tried
replacing totem-gstreamer with totem-xine and the problem still exists...
There's no problem with the mozilla plugin or other media players (gxine,
wxvlc, mplayer), so I'm guessing the problem lies somewhere in Totem?

Seems you guys have this, but just a note to Daniel, setting noopt in
DEB_OPTS (or whatever the variable is supposed to be) doesn't work for
this package (the variable seems to be ignored) - I had to set CFLAGS
manually.

disabled - This is a standard ps/2 mouse - in xorg.conf, the device node is set
as /dev/input/mice.
