FYI I just reinstalled poppler, bug still occurs exactly as it did with
the file I attached at first, so it clearly still isn't fixed.
Some extensive googling has revealed that evince added support for DRM
in pdf files previously, and after a big stink in 2005, it was removed.

Preview on OSX, still open without a password, however, if you attempt

Well...Attached is a PDF file. This file is a case action summary from
v2.alacourt.com. (I'm a paralegal, I open tens or even a hundred of
these a day.) The PDF files generated by Alacourt open fine in every
PDF reader on every system except those based on libpoppler on Ubu

locking up, and not responding to open up the address bar. Will not allow me

I can report that I, too, had the same problem today on my Jaunty
install after updates done on 01/31/2010. I was able to successfully
rollback to the previous version of libglib2.0 and was able to open a
"Network" connection again.

It would be handy if it would at least tell a user that their account
was locked out. As is, I had a user change their password and forget
change their cached password in Evolution (or on their smartphone) and
they were locked out of their desktop whenever the screen saver kicked

When I split an audio file into two or more tracks, the burning process stalls
at the end of the first track every time.

I'm having an identical problem to Candle Jack on 8.04.1 with a Radeon
X600, also configured via "aticonfig --initial=dual-head"
I'm also unable to disable the screensaver via System -> Preferences ->
Screensaver because only a hanging grey box opens when I run it.

The bug I had was in the Nautilus desktop file listing totem as the
default program whenever I would "Left" click on any one of the top 7 in
the "Places" drop down menu. I found the solution in a forum.

Tested with CSI: Miami, second season, disc 1:
totem-gstreamer: Spanish (3 for 3 tries)
totem-xine: English
gxine: English
The gstreamer backend skips the DVD menu, which might be the cause of
this. With gstreamer, the settings are all wrong (Spanish, directory
commentary on, etc.) Xine back

The option for a "RSA (sign only)" key is a valid choice for advanced
key generation via GnuPG and thus Seahorse. It may not be a wise choice
in most cases but it is valid.
