I am setting this to invalid because I noticed that, when I tried to update my system, I had a previous dpkg interrupted. After dpkg ---configure -a, apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade, when I restarted X, my theme was back to normal and I was able to change window borders. Claudio **
