Even if I had no PPA's active, I deleted all of them and reinstalled all
gstreamer related packages (using Synaptic).
Then I did
$locate gstreamer | grep claudiu
then I did this
rm -rf /home/claudiu/.gstreamer-0.10
rm -rf /home/claudiu/.gconf/system/gstreamer
Now, totem plays OK some
This is the output and I can reproduce it anytime in terminal:

The bug seems related to some configuration files. I moved all the *
and .* files away in a "tmp" folder from my home directory and f-spot
ran perfectly. As I was moving the configuration settings back one by
one, f-spot went back to the old behaviour - not responding when

Could someone please make rhythmbox save the radio stations list after
adding one station ? I use to add national radio stations one by one and
rythmbox often crashes, loosing all this work. I know it shouldnt be

I found that I can run movies with totem like this:
= Opening $HOME in Firefox, and clicking on movie. It runs ok with
totem-gstreamer-plugin.
Anyway, standalone totem will not run (for a week now).

I meant gs-esp is working ok for me now, and I must mention I am using
kubuntu feisty, upgraded from edgy, upgraded from dapper, upgraded from
breezy. Maybe others should check this also, in order to close this bug.
