nautilus doesn't crash, it simply stalls forever, neither finishing the
first copy operation nor starting the second one.
Because of not crashing, I have always to kill it, it is not going to
report an automatic crash report.

May it be that gnome-power-manager is not connected to the session
manager so the gnome_master_client() call in the following code of gpm-
manager.c fails:

Sorry, I found the cause of the problem, I didn't replaced the "gutsy"
in "deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com gutsy main universe" with a "hardy".
But now how can I get a gdb backtrace if the program is not crashing. It
simply stalls without any output.
Instead of a backtrace, I have run it under strace
That is what I was trying to say:
I cannot install gnome-session-symdbg-2.20.0-0ubuntu2, the only version
in the repositories, because it is depending of gnome-session of the
