For reference, this operation can be carried out on Feisty (7.04) with
eog 2.18.1. Bear in mind that the "Normal" or zoom in mode should be
enabled, as it will not allow panning around an image that has been
shrunk to fit the current window.

I have attempted this on my system, both with, and without desktop effects
enabled.
Steps I took:
* (Desktop effects initially enabled)
* Right click on top panel bar
* Select properties
* Set orient
Since I really needed my email, I used RLTH and hand scanned where the
problem was, as well as plenty of searching. I thined down the mailbox
file removing a lot of rubbish. However, this had no effect. The one
thing that helped was removing the CMETA file as suggested on defect
#17839 which seemed
More information:
It is something that has happened to the profile. If I move away the .evolution
directory, and start it (thus forcing it to create a new profile) I do not see
a hang. Now I do have important information I want to retain in the old profile
so if anyone has ideas about migrating

I am now seeing something very similar, possibly related. I have evolution set
up with a pop mailbox, and it currently (at a result of catching up/backing up
to local) has a very large inbox - 64Mb. It hung and became unresponsive at
100% a few days ago, and now does so every time I start it. I
Testing this on my machine with 2.16.0-0ubuntu4 on Edgy on x86 does not
show this problem.

This bug report unfortunately lacks debug information, and may mean that
developers can not get enough info to fix or diagnose it.
Can you follow the instructions at

I have done a Dist upgrade to my Edgy install.
I attempted to reproduce with the steps above, and still see the "error
accessing 'file:///home/oem/drawing.svg': File not found" message.
Now having not saved it yet, ever, should it really produce this message
every time?

When the polygon tool is clicked to add a polygon to a page, you can
click enough to create a simple triangle. There is no apparent way to
