I think the issue is reproducible, perhaps I haven't communicated
enough.
The thing is, if you have an INBOX with messages, and also a set of
subfolders of the INBOX, the INBOX messages will not be visible.
Has this been addressed?

than I re-opened Evolution, and found that the subfolders of INBOX are
now missing in that app.
So, no, the bug is not gone.

I switched from Evolution to Thunderbird because there were a lot of
little nits.
I'll put Evolution on one of my machines again and see . . .
