Thanks for asking! This bug went away some time ago before 9.04 and
seems to be working just fine now. Other applications, such as GIMP,
have similar issues but Sound Juicer does not although it still has
issues with special characters but I believe that was posted separately.

While not crashing as such, Sound Juicer 2.24.0 in Ubuntu 8.1 and GNOME
2.24.1 simply stops extracting when it gets to an improper character in
the file name. Rather than having this odd and completely unexpected
behavior, why not have it simply remove the characters while still
leaving the proper

simply stops extracting and/or closes itself unexpectedly.
