I have to disagree with most of Jeremy's comments
This is only a means to present an "open with" context menu option in nautilus
which doesn't exist.
After actually using there are only 2 options, "Open" (nautilus) & "Open With",
not 4
How the user populates the "Open With" sub menu is up to the
Now that Ubuntu is going with 3.6.x in 13.04 some re-consideration could be
given to returning this, reasonably non-invasive & simple to patch back.
The idea that folders should only be opened from nautilus with nautilus is a
bit shortsighted.

Overall this is pretty much a no nothing bug. That being said the new proposed
fix appears to only be partially effective
Seems to work ok when left clicking on launcher icon but has no affect if using
a quicklist entry instead, nautilus will open behind.

I don't believe I've ever seen anyone specifically show where sudo gedit
causes any issue.
I generally will use nano but at times will use sudo gedit.

recursive search was re-enabled in git shortly after 3.6.1 was released & could
be added to the current nautilus build in raring

It used to be linked in orig LP bug above, by andyrock, though don't see anymore
Anyway will attach here. (I'm not anywhere qualified to say it's
something that should be done, only that I've never seen any issue

I am trying to install Empathy on Lubuntu 12.10, but in order to setup
an account, I need to enter information to an item in my System Settings
that isn't there... gnome-control-center only has 3 configurable items
listed: Printers, Language Support, and Software Sources. In p
Tested on an existing Quantal install with a new user account. Logging
into Classic went fine with window deco & other default plugins loaded &
working as expected.
