In case it helps others: In Raring my ASUS EP121 still has no hint of simulated
2nd click using the egalax touchscreen, but it works (mostly) using the stylus
(Wacom). Mine may be different bug as it works best after fresh reboot
sometimes stops working later... the opposite to that reported
Not sure if related, but also the map buttons... button gives blank
box. My pen doesn't have side buttons, but does have eraser and I'd
hoped to use eraser as secondary click but there is no option here to
alter it - not sure if the that is intended or not.

Hi, I have similar bug. I am running an ASUS ep121 slate with intel core i5.
2nd mouse click was working a while ago. I had not used it for a while as I was
using the slate as a desktop with keybousrd mouse, so I don't know how long
ago this bug started to occur. But the 2ndary mouse click now

Th e problem is not users adding system paths, the problem is gnome-
panel allows no user overrides. The only way to modify the path is to
modify the global /etc/profile. Gnome-panel should be overridden by
~/.profile.

I'm getting it too, also on 10.04 AMD64. Progress bar goes all the way
over and stalls. No file is saved and there's nothing to do but hit
Cancel. It doesn't seem to be consistent but I haven't identified
variables that will trigger or avoid it.

I get 3 beeps every time I shut down Jaunty on a Dell D400. I have not
noticed, though, any connection between volume control and the volume of
the beep. I have my volume down pretty low for the start-up chimes but

About Ubuntu page fails to report Ubuntu release info
-desktop, ubuntu-doc and gnome-user-guide.
Immediately after the uninstall, I reinstalled all 4 packages. sudo
dpkg -l installed-2; diff installed installed-2 showed the package list
to be exactly as it was before. For the record:
d...@drew-laptop:~/dpkg$ grep yelp installed
ii yelp
, ubuntu-desktop and gnome-user-guide, then reboot and the
problem is solved. I wonder if there's a gentler solution like just
reinstalling yelp or some such.

I'm seeing this in feisty (Nautilus 2.18.0.1) - folders are shown with
the open icon even after they have been closed. This is for the duration
of the session and is consistent across the desktop, spatial and browser
windows.
