I just compared my Lucid and Karmic installs and found that Lucid by
default does not have the "/apps/totem/volume" key.
Karmic does have the volume key, and in my case, it was set to 100. I'm
not sure if it defaulted to 100 or it was 100 because I set it through
totem or the totem plugin.

I have encountered a series of PDFs that have links in them that will
not open Evince, but will open in Adobe Reader.
Since the links in the PDFs I have are pictures that are clicked on (as
shown in the attached screenshot) I filed this as a bug r
I do not have the sound muted problem with the normal desktop Totem
("Movie Player"), but every time I open a file with the totem-mozilla
plugin, the sound is muted. Changing the volume in the plugin, closing
it, and starting it again has the volume re-muted.

The recent update to the gnome-media media package has introduced some
audio distortion that was not present before.
It seems that there is audio distortion at all volume levels, but it
becomes significantly more noticeable as I raise the vol
