Previously when I opened a terminal and made an SSH connection I would
get pop-up dialog asking to unlock the public key with the passphrase.

does add it to the keyring. I just had to add my current key by name.

One more thing I noticed while checking what's going on with sudo. To my
understanding newer versions of sudo treat the epoch as a special case
and ignore it as an invalid date. So why does Ubuntu's /etc/init.d/sudo
set sudoers timestamps to 19850101 during the boot? Shouldn't they
be set to
I was also getting a beep on shutdown even though pckspkr was already
blacklisted. I found a solution at
http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?f=49t=75825. The problem went
away by muting the Beep with alsamixer.

graphics ok.

Printing from evince (and perhaps other GTK apps) to PostScript printers is
broken
Evince seems to have trouble with .png and .jpg files in the pdf.
I installed the fixes in Janne's PPA. Did not fix problems with evince.
Printing works using both paths:
- pdftops, lpr -o raw
- evince save as ps, lpr -o raw

This was with Edgy. I don't think it's the same gtk_file_info_get_is_folder()
crash as with the other Gimp crashes
