evolution add one task, can't add another

I am using Evolution in Xubuntu 11.04. I was attempting to add tasks to
my task list. I was in calendar view with the tasks on the right side of
the screen. I clicked in the box that says "click to add tasks". I typed
my task and hit enter, which is added to my list. I attempt
My current release is Maverick Meerkat. I continue to have problems with
screen freezing, etc. I've had to disable all compiz special effects and
the screen saver. By doing so, I have no problems. There is some kind of
problem with the above video chipset and compiz/opengl but I don't know
