I would like to add my support for running 2 x screens at once. I have searched many hours for a solution to this but always seem to come up against too many technical hurdles or roadblocks. If there is a possible fix for this which just requires a patch to gnome-session, could someone please implement that. This would make the many users I have encountered during my search for a solution to this extremely happy. Maybe we could finally have a distro which supports multiple X Screens, each with its own set of panels, workspaces, etc. Support for this seems to have been ignored for several years, since the days of gnome2.
