Dear Pedro, I think the bug should be closed. After the workaround described on Oct 04th 2010 I never experienced the issue anymore and in the meantime I moved to Natty Narwhal (11.04), we can assume the bug is not there anymore. Thanks to all of you for addressing the topic. Cheers, Fabrizio
