I have a similar problem, but it involves headphones rather than
Bluetooth

Title:
External audio device shows up
Public bug reported:
After upgrading to Ubuntu 13.10, selecting HDMI as audio output device
is broken.
Audio is played back at high speed. When playing back video clips, the
video frames are also too fast.
This is similar to an old bug I reported some time ago,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/
Public bug reported:
Ubuntu 11.10 on amd64.
The machine is intended as a development machine for both 32-bit and 64-bit
applications.
The 2 environments, however, are not as independent as they should but often
clash.
FIrst, Bug #881236 hit, then this.
libssl-dev:i386 is installed.
$ dpkg -l
Not even installing Evolution solved the problem (even though Evolution
shouldn't be a dependency in any case...). It worked before upgrading to
11.04.

SInce uninstalling Evolution, the same occurs here. Having one e-mail
client such as Thunderbird shopuld be enough to have a working "Send
to:" command, but it is not. Here's the output of ldd
