Gnome-shell slowly grows in memory over time. The mouse will start to
stutter and keyboard input repeats the same character many times. After
a day or two, I have to reboot or my desktop environment crashes.

I've just install hardy and the problem is STILL there !
BUT I've found why : Evolution at first start up ask for a time zone, that's
little strange because you do this at Ubuntu's install. But the time zone of
evolution is not the same as Ubuntu. (or Gnome's clock)

Ok I found that the issue appear with AAC files and maybe other files
(from bad and/or ugly codec), but not mp3 or ogg files.
