Had this bug with a clean install of ubuntu 6.06 (final) on (hda0,1). Actually I have Wastebasket Applet 2.14.1 and GNOME Panel 2.14.1. .Trash directory is present and fully functional, just not "connected" to the applet. -- Trash always empty. https://launchpad.net/bugs/34247 -- desktop-bugs
