In the end, both problems (SaveDialog focus & bad theming) were due to the use of snap version of firefox. Installing the .deb from PPA resolved both : https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2022/04/how-to-install-firefox-deb-apt-ubuntu-22-04 Why on earth Ubuntu decided to use snap? -- You received this
