Maybe I misunderstood something ... but since Launchpad Janitor wrote on
2009-11-05: ... Fix Committed → Fix Released I expected that with my regular
updates now all would work well. Alas my animated gif still won't move. On
double-clicking the gif on my desktop, Eye of GNOME 2.28.1 opens,
I guess it would be my job to do this as I raised this case. However, I
would appreciate if anybody else does since I have remarquable problems
with english language. I had a look at the mentioned link
/upstream/gnome but got only confused where what how to do.

Ubuntu 8.04, german version.
Thoug german keyboard defined, no german umlaute available. Also sharp s, at
inside of email-adresses and so on don't work.

Doubleclicking a *.swf opens totem as player, but errmsg is displayed, that
totem encountered a problem and a problemreport should be made. Here it is. The

Repeated the action with a local copy of the file on desktop gives
errmsg:

Fresh installed Ubuntu 7.04 german version. All updates made.
Testing different media if they can be played. All works (mp3, mpg, asf, wmv)
until a swf-file was selected.
Displayed error-msg:

Adobe Reader and Evince 0.6.1 cannot

I would have prefered to file this bug to Adobe Reader, but launchpad tells me,

BTW: The progress-bar in the lower fram of the Mozilla firefox-window
doesn't work with uploading the crash-report.
