If the calculator is set to Programming mode and you use the Ctrl
shortcuts to switch between bases, the base in use at program exit is
not saved.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set the calculator to Programming Mode.
2. Set the base to Hexadecimal using the drop-down menu.
3. Exit
I, too, had changed my mountdevusbfs.sh at one point (in fact, for the
same reason). However, I don't understand how you managed to fix it?
This problem is really bugging me. The hack you mention enables gnome-
terminal but for some reason my TTYs are still not active. I'm hoping to
get it fixed
I do not have a mountdevsubfs.sh.dpkg-dist file. This is a Hardy
Intrepid Jaunty install.

I added the path in the Indexing Preferences, but I still can't get
Nautilus to find anything on that partition. The Search for Files...
dialog will find them, but not Nautilus.

I have to open a terminal, cd over to the directory, and use ls
[expression] in order to find files on the partition. It's pretty
annoying that I have have to go through all that trouble every single
time.

I have a FAT32 partition that I share on my home Samba network. It's
roughly 400Gigs, so it would be nice if I could search it.
