even though exhibiting all symptoms listed in this thread, i just can
not play DVD's with ANY programs. system up-to-date. currently using
kernel 2.6.24-19. bug still remains.

i have experienced this bug on both x86 and x86_64 8.04 hardy versions on
random events while running a number of programs.
even though 32bit version seems to be more unstable about it.
resuming from screensaver (password protect on) does not seem to be exclusively
affected in my case. i have re
