bothered you: I am new to Ubuntu and Evolution. This problem occurred
because I had had the View/hide deleted messages option checked since I
took delivery. Your mention of "expunge" led me to check out the
Evolution user guide, when it all made sense.
I feel a lot better
Regardless of the Intrepid lines, anything involving a PPA is not a bug
in Ubuntu.
